What is Avatar.gift?
Avatar.gift is the AI assistant that stays on your iPhone: it learns you over time, your conversations and memories stay on your device, and you buy it once — no subscription, no account.
Does my data really stay on my phone?
Yes — by architecture, not by promise. The AI model runs on the iPhone itself, and conversations and memories are stored only in a local database on your device. There is no account, and no server of ours your data goes to. The App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
How is it different from ChatGPT and other AI apps?
Almost every AI assistant sends your words to servers to be processed. Avatar.gift processes everything on the phone in your hand. It also remembers you: what you share becomes long-term memory it uses every day — and that memory lives on your device, not on anyone's servers.
What can it do?
Reminders, calendar, notes, habits, money tracking, goals — say it in one sentence and the right assistant handles it. You can create your own assistants with their own personality and tools, and it can build little trackers on the spot for anything you want to log.
What are its limits?
An AI small enough to live on a phone is not as capable as the giant models in the cloud — it will sometimes get things wrong. We chose this trade deliberately: privacy this strong can't be built any other way. It improves with every update, and your memories carry over each time the brain gets smarter.
Which iPhone do I need?
iOS 17 or later. It runs best on iPhone 16 Pro or newer; on older iPhones it works, but noticeably slower.
How much does it cost?
Free to download and try. Keeping it is a one-time $9.99 purchase at launch price (it will increase later). No subscription, ever.
Why does it download something on first launch?
The AI model itself (about 2.7GB) is downloaded once, so the App Store download stays small. After that, the model lives on your phone.
Can I see or delete what it remembers?
Yes. Every memory can be read, corrected, or deleted, anytime. It answers to no one but you.
Does the AI need an internet connection?
The AI runs on your device, so conversations don't need a connection. You'll need internet for the one-time model download, purchases, app updates, and any web search you ask for.
